Chi Hui Youth Club members combined creativity and teamwork to complete four distinctive lanterns, with two teams earning awards at the competition.
On 9 August 2026, eight Chi Hui Youth Club members formed four teams to take part in a lantern craft competition organised by Cheras LeisureMall. Working within a limited time, they developed their ideas, built the structures, added decorations and transformed their concepts into four unique lanterns.
Creativity and teamwork recognised
The other participating members were Pang Huisi, Pei Pei, Zhou Xingyu and Zhou Xingchen. Every team devoted care and effort to its work, demonstrating creativity, patience and problem-solving skills throughout the process. Whether or not they received an award, each completed lantern reflected a genuine team achievement.
Other Chi Hui Youth Club members also came along to cheer for the participants and share the joy of seeing the lanterns completed and recognised. More than a competition, the event became an opportunity to collaborate, support one another and create lasting memories.
